iPhone 12 leaks Release Date, Price
The iPhone 12, alongside iPhone 12 Pro, is expected to be the most significant change to Apple’s models in recent years. Change in new iPhone ranges from the number of models with a new design to 5G connectivity along with a powerful new A14 Bionic processor. With iPhone 12 release, you can expect a bigger camera and probably a 120Hz display for the Pro models.
The new iPhone 12 is forecasted to launch in four models:
- the 5.4-inch iPhone 12;
- 1-inch iPhone 12 Max;
- 1-inch iPhone 12 Pro; and
- 7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Each of the new iPhone 12 smartphones would feature OLED displays with 5G connectivity. However, the iPhone 12 Pro series might have a 120Hz refresh rate with three rear cameras plus a LiDAR sensor.
We may also expect a new design for Apple’s iPhones. The design that goes back to the iPhone 5’s flat edges with a more squared-off display. There also might be a smaller notch.
iPhone 12 Release Date
iPhone 12 is scheduled to launch in autumn 2020. However, Apple might consider a delay, which could push the launch a month or more.
Most Apple fans have marked October as the iPhone release date. The Wall Street Journal reported that bulk production has been pushed back. That’s ignited talk of the push back iPhone of 12 launch event to October. This delay would be the first occasion since 2011 that the launch event is going to held in early September.
Apple supplier Broadcom argued that one of its customers is observing a “major product delay.” It’s broadly assumed the customer was referring to the iPhone 12. One report also claims that we might not see the release of the iPhone 12 until November.
Even if the forthcoming iPhone model launches in September 2020, the premium model could be held back. As per the April 2020 supply chain report, the average iPhone 12 series will go into mass production in September. However, the rumored iPhone 12 Pro Max will follow the course in October 2020.

According to Jon Prosser, the iPhone 12 price, which is 5.4-inch alongside rear cameras, will begin at $649. That price would be much affordable at $50 less than compared to the iPhone 11. The iPhone 12 Max has a 6.1-inch screen that might cost $749.
iPhone 12 Design
What will the new iPhone 12 models look like? As per Bloomberg, the iPhone 12 may bring back the metal-edge flat design of the iPhone 5.
The new 5.4-inch iPhone 12 might be compact. In fact, as per EverythingApplePro, the iPhone’s dimensions would be even smaller compared to the 4.7-inch iPhone SE. You will get a full-size screen, which is easy to use with one hand.
iPhone 12 Colors
We have heard some rumors on the color front. However, it is the safe bet that Apple would likely follow a similar pattern of the previous iPhone launches. That suggests more colors for the least expensive iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max. The iPhone 12 Pro models would adopt darker, more conventional color schemes like silver and Space Gray.
Rumors also suggest that Apple might play around with the colors, such as blue color for the iPhone 12. The blue might replace the Midnight Green color launched with the iPhone 11 Pro, which may be exclusive to the new Pro models.
iPhone 12 Cameras
As per rumors, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max would have dual rear cameras. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max would come with three rear cameras along with a new LiDAR sensor.
Provided that the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max had triple-lens rear cameras in Apple’s hardware history, we expect to continue with iPhone 12 Pro versions.
You can expect the sensor an accurate judge of the distance between your smartphone and the object to be captured. That will lead to better portrait images. It will also enable more precise object tracking and effects in AR apps Apple is keen on.
iPhone 12 Display
The new iPhone 12 display might support improvement over the screens on several current smartphones. It is claimed that Apple is pondering whether to let next year’s iPhone model switch between a 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rate – similar to every new Galaxy S20 model.
Launching an iPhone Pro along with a 120Hz refresh rate suggests a smoother scrolling display compared to anything we have seen from many rival brands.
iPhone 12 Face ID
As per AppleInsider, Apple has got a patent for Face ID. Face ID would introduce a useful application. The copyright uses Face ID to describe the position of the user’s face relevant to the phone. It means in case they are interacting with the handset while it’s lying flat on a table, the phone would exactly know which direction the screen must be oriented.
As per the rumors, it sounds like the most significant improvements are coming with iPhone 12 release. The improvements are welcoming in the areas of 5G and support for augmented apps with the time-of-flight sensor. Even with the iPhone 12 leaks on a daily basis, there is still so much we are unknown about the first 5G iPhones.
